Maintenance
The wood of this watch is hand-treated with tung oil. This natural oil is extracted from the seeds of the tung tree and this treatment makes the watch splash-proof. However, wood is still a fragile natural product, so avoid contact with extreme cold, heat or humidity at all times. The beauty of wood is that it is alive. It may change color slightly the more you use your watch. To keep the wood in good condition, we recommend that you lubricate your watch once a year with a mixture of equal parts lemon juice and olive oil. Gently spread the mixture onto the wood, then buff it with a clean, dry cloth. But in most cases this is not necessary as the wood will be kept hydrated by the oils on your skin.
